F-35 Sr. Quality Engineer- Level 3
About The Position
This Quality Engineer Position supports the F-35 Program Quality team in meeting program objectives and interfacing with customers. The role includes customer interface in communicating program performance, continuous improvement initiatives & fielding customer concerns/needs, root cause, corrective action, and closeout for production program issues/escapes, data integrity & analytics, program level metrics and communications, facilitation of customer engagements, production floor integration, Quality Alert Bulletin & command media coordination. Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance, per business requirements.

- Experience in performing root cause and corrective action
- Customer interface experience
- Project management skills
- Experience working in a production environment
- Must be a US Citizen for consideration
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Able to effectively navigate complex product and process-related requirements to validate nonconformances and develop corrective actions in coordination with cross-functional colleagues & customers
- F-35 product knowledge/build area experience
- Familiarity with F-35 systems to include SFM, Apriso, LTII, etc.
- Black Belt / Green Belt / White Belt / PDCA
- High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and with customers
- Experience in programming/data visualization using Tableau, Python, VBA or similar programs
