This position is for a Systems Engineer on the F-35 Training System Support Center (TSSC) team. The TSSC is responsible for the sustainment of the fielded Training System enterprise providing pilot and maintainer training across multiple training locations. The Training System includes classroom infrastructure, courseware, and training devices that support the training mission. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for a variety of tracking and planning tasks applicable to the sustainment phase of the F35 Training Program. The primary focus will be as a member of the Change Oversight and Release Engineering (CORE) Team. CORE facilitates the implementation of changes to Training Systems products. As a key member of the CORE team you will: - Collaborate with Product Teams to understand the scope of change, change type, effectivity, and schedule. - Evaluate a change for enterprise effectivity and sustainability and then authorizes its release for use on the Training System - Verify readiness of delegated change for field release - Process Release Authorization Notices - Support release processes with for non-delegated changes. - Coordination with Aero and JPO counterparts for all change requests. Additional responsibilities may include support for TSSC Problem Management, Process Improvement, and Earned Value Management. Some travel may be required. (<25%, typically 1-2 weeks/year). Position is >50% remote, but requires some physical presence on-site at Eglin AFB or Orlando Lake Underhill Facility. This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance. As such, the role would require the candidate to report to their home facility when requested.
