About The Position

The F-35 IT Project Manager will manage the delivery of advanced digital solutions, working closely with clients to facilitate connectivity throughout the program. This role involves guiding Agile development of a project roadmap, establishing project milestones, and implementing metrics to track progress. The Project Manager will utilize technical knowledge of the systems development life cycle to identify and assess the impact of recommendations in technology, people, and processes. They will apply technical leadership, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation techniques to resolve implementation, deployment, and operational transition issues for stakeholders and assist the client in developing innovative solutions to complex problems from kickoff through completion. This role requires working without considerable direction and may involve mentoring and supervising team members. The position focuses on transforming the future of F-35 digital platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting complex IT projects as project or program manager in a large-scale implementation
  • Experience with DoD IT and security programs
  • Experience developing and managing project schedules, resources, risk, deliverables, and day-to-day tasks of the team
  • Experience managing data migrations and validation efforts as part of a system transition
  • Experience managing and working on multiple concurrent tasks, projects and priorities in a fast-paced matrix-managed environment to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to guide the collection of requirements and data points from multiple stakeholders and develop process maps to document process flows
  • Ability to work across multiple teams
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
