About The Position

iQuasar is seeking an F-16 WIC Instructor Pilot for a full-time contract position in Thumrait, Oman. This role involves providing academic training and instruction using Full Mission Simulators (FMS) and Instructor Operating Stations (IOS), as well as in-flight instruction in the F-16 Block 50. The instructor will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pilot training courseware updates and conduct a Qualified Weapons Instructor course. The position is for a one-year contract with four option years and is typically filled by an experienced F-16 WIC instructor pilot.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Former F-16 Weapon School graduate.
Demonstrated 1000 hours minimum F-16 flight experience is required.
Demonstrated 1500 hours Fighter Flight Time in forth and/or fifth generation multi-role fighter aircraft.
Regular travel to various work sites throughout the country may be required.
Current or demonstrated experience as an USAF IP with multi-role fighter experience.
Valid states driver's license.
Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States, complete a U.S. government I-9 form, and successfully pass a government background check.
An active current DoD Secret clearance; the Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

Nice To Haves

Foreign Language/Cultural experiences.
Previous experience in the CENTCOM AOR.
Experience as an UPT/FTU instructor.
F-16C Block 50 desired.

Responsibilities

Instructs pilots in ground and flight procedures and techniques, prepares lesson plans.
Act as a SME by applying advanced technical concepts in aviation and aid in creation of training material.
Assists in the preparation of schedules, maintenance of training records and ensures that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student.
Evaluates and monitors students' performance.
