About The Position

goodr is seeking creative and enthusiastic individuals for their 2026 Fall Internship Program. This 9-week paid internship, running from August 31st, 2026, to October 30th, 2026, offers hands-on experience in the design and development of active eyewear. Interns will rotate through different design verticals, gaining exposure to lens technology, frame architecture, and colorway selection, guiding ideas from concept to pre-production. The program emphasizes real-world experience, fun, and skill development in a fast-paced, authentic company environment.

Requirements

  • Committed to the full 9-week internship: August 31st, 2026 - October 30th, 2026
  • Open to part-time (up to 30 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) opportunities, depending on your schedule
  • Available to work fully onsite at our Inglewood, CA office during regular business hours (9am - 5pm). This is a strictly onsite role for both part-time and full-time schedules
  • Required to be in the office on Tuesdays (minimum half-day), regardless of total weekly hours or part-time flexibility
  • Must reside in Los Angeles or the surrounding area for the duration of the internship
  • No college degree or prior experience needed—just a passion for learning and jumping into the flamingo-filled chaos of goodr

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in sunglass design while learning how a fast-paced active eyewear company operates day-to-day
  • Rotate through the three verticals of the Innovation and Design team to gain exposure to the full design ecosystem
  • Gain hands-on experience across the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and design to pre-production
  • Develop foundational knowledge in lens technology, frame design, and colorway selection
  • Collaborate with the I&D team to support product innovation and design projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
