Extrusion Support Technician
About The Position
The ideal candidate will support safe and efficient extrusion operations by preparing ovens, maintaining an organized work area, and assisting the extrusion team to maximize productivity, quality, and on-time production. During your first year, you will learn Drake's extrusion processes, equipment, and safety procedures. You will safely load, unload, and operate extrusion support equipment. You will maintain a clean, organized work area by following 5S standards. You will support production activities while meeting quality and scheduling expectations. You will become a dependable team member who contributes to safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required
