Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Strong mechanical ability or knowledge.
Fork lift certification to be completed after successful hire.

Responsibilities

Set-up and shutdown extrusion lines for production.
Work with operators to efficiently start production.
Perform floor level maintenance to tooling, extruders and down stream equipment.
Assist operators in performing their tasks and teach them to identify and trouble shooting problems.
Assist in establishing and compliance with plant safety program.
Trouble shooting of molding machines to ensure quality products are produced.
Maintain quality levels set forth from the QA Department.
Coordinate efforts with department Supervisor, shift leads, Plant Manager and other Door and Wall departments to assure product flow.
Implement new Policy and Procedure Guidelines for Department.
Communicate and act as a liaison with all departments and shifts on a daily basis to assure proper production needs are met.
All other duties as assigned.
