About The Position

This role is responsible for operating an extrusion press cell, ensuring safe and efficient production while meeting quality standards. The position involves understanding manufacturing orders, adhering to quality practices, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting delivery schedules. The job also includes performing other related assignments as required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent degree
Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to recognize safety concerns
Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated area
A highly motivated self-starter
Basic math skills
Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts and surface finish according to customer specifications
Ability to effectively work in a team environment
Ability to take part in additional training i.e. Extrusion 101
Ability to perform and assist with preventive maintenance
Strong communication skills, problem solver, multi-tasker
Ability to properly identify materials

Nice To Haves

3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
