About The Position

This role is responsible for operating extrusion press cell production equipment safely and efficiently to meet customer quality requirements and maximize output. The position involves understanding manufacturing orders, adhering to quality practices, maintaining a clean work area using the 5S system, and meeting delivery schedules. The job also includes performing other related assignments and special projects as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to recognize safety concerns
• Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated area
• A highly motivated self-starter
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts and surface finish according to customer specifications
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Ability to take part in additional training i.e. Extrusion 101
• Ability to perform and assist with preventive maintenance
• Strong communication skills, problem solver, multi-tasker
• Ability to properly identify materials

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred

• Meet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfaction.
• Perform all other related assignments (including special projects) as required in a professional and cooperative manner.
