About The Position

Seda North America is seeking an Extrusion Operator to join our team! If you have excellent problem-solving skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and experience in operating plastics extrusion lines, apply here! Seda North America is an air-conditioned, exceptionally clean facility that designs and produces innovative paper packaging solutions, which include unique insulated coffee cups and food industry containers.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Must have prior experience in thermoplastics
• Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages
• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted and remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift

Nice To Haves

• technical degree or other certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion equipment to create plastic sheets
• Set up machine with proper materials based on recipe
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in real time
• Perform quality checks regularly
