About The Position

C-P Flexible Packaging is one of the top 25 flexible packaging companies in the U.S. For over 60 years, our packaging experts have provided our clients with flexible packaging products made in-house from start to finish. This role is for a 12-hour Day Shift Extruder Operator with pay starting at $20/hr+DOE.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude
• Problem solving
• Following instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Communicating in a clear manner
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure
• Forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the operator in performing set-ups and operation of machine
• Complete tasks within adequate time limits, meet daily goal/scheduled needs
• Perform quality checks and ensure correct specifications
• Making necessary adjustments to equipment
• Loading and unloading of product using hoist
• Interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOP, tickets, etc.)
• Completing required paperwork
• Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe
• Work in a team environment
