About The Position
Americhem – Dalton, GA Americhem is a globally recognized designer and manufacturer of custom color masterbatch, functional additives, engineered compounds and performance technologies. We have several opportunities at our Dalton, GA facility offering competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience. We are Expanding and looking to add new talent! Shift: 2nd 4:00 pm to 12:00 am
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Organizational skills to include multi-tasking, planning, and time management
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing/production
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Preferred)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Processing products from compounded raw materials in a safe and efficient manner, according to specifications and procedures.
- Setting up, operating, and tending machines
- Creating Pellets by running compound through extruders and accompanying support equipment.
- Safely operates all relevant equipment, follows safety procedures, and holds safety of self and others in highest regard.
