About The Position

As a Manufacturing Operator within our brand-new WM, America Manufacturing Inc. site, you will be instrumental in the success of our products being at or above our customers' requirements and standards. Accordingly, you will be responsible for product movement, monitoring and identifying quality issues to achieve required quality standards. You will be involved in proposing continuous improvement initiatives and opportunities for the business to excel, and for you to feel proud of your daily accomplishments. The key areas of focus include: Assisting with 5S and Safety tasks associated with good manufacturing practices Manufacturing of Extruded tubing Manufacture of Liquid Silicone Rubber Moulded (LSR) parts Collecting and recording relevant process data Assisting engineering with validation and experimental activities Identifying opportunities for improvement throughout the manufacturing process and working with team members to recommend and implement solutions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2–4 years of warehouse or distribution center experience required
  • Strong Mechanical Background
  • Understanding of Machinery and their functions
  • Be organized, methodical, resilient and approachable with strong communication skills.
  • Be delivery focused with strong attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure.
  • Can effectively and appropriately challenge others.
  • Can use personal initiative to work collaboratively as one team with a “can do” approach.
  • Awareness of cGMP requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in extrusion/Moulding techniques desired but not necessary.
  • Experience of working in a cleanroom environment desired but not necessary

Responsibilities

  • Follow company procedures and directives.
  • Following Clean room policies- gowning up and wearing a mask that covers nose and mouth.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
  • Comply with company regulations and operating procedures
  • Maintain a helpful and collaborative culture through communication and a strong work ethic
  • Carry out any other activities to support the business as required.
  • Other duties as assigned
