About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations. This role involves adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking the usage of replacement parts, and ordering them. The technician will diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems, perform detailed equipment setups including recipe changes and control adjustments, and maintain mechanical machine components in top operating condition. They will also perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions. A key aspect of this role is an intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and photo eyes. Troubleshooting and repairing issues with PLC inputs and outputs is also a core responsibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
  • Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality
  • Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
