About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations. This role involves adjusting and repairing equipment as needed, tracking the usage of and ordering replacement parts, diagnosing and repairing complex electromechanical problems, performing detailed equipment setups including recipe changes and control adjustments, and keeping mechanical machine components in top operating condition. The technician will also perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions and troubleshoot inputs and outputs on PLCs.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality
Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime
Proficient in Word and Excel
Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance

Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments

Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance tasks following instructions
Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues
Track usage of and ordering replacement parts
