About The Position

RPI, LLC, part of Premier Outdoor Living (POL), is an entrepreneurial manufacturer in the outdoor living industry with facilities in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Green Bay team is expanding and seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join as Extrusion Machine Operators. This role is crucial for producing high-quality plastic products for outdoor living applications. The operator will manage extrusion equipment, oversee production, make quality-focused adjustments, and collaborate with teammates to meet production targets. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided, and prior extrusion experience is not required. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a team-oriented approach, with a desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of machine operating experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and operate extrusion machinery and related equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing quality products.
  • Ability to meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience specifically operating extrusion equipment is not required.
  • Manufacturing or machine operating experience is encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products.
  • Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings and processes to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Perform routine machine and equipment maintenance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and assist with resolving equipment and production issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production and quality goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities designed to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Accurately compare product color and pattern against established quality control standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
