About The Position
Extrusion Blow Molding Super Technician/Master Technician Needed- Haw River/Graham, NC. Are you an Extrusion Molding Master Technician/Super Technician (with advanced level processing and maintenance skills)? Can you install and rebuild Extrusion Blow Molding machinery? Requirements
- 1 step extrusion blow molding experience
- Process and qualify bottles/containers
- Ability to disassemble and assemble extrusion blow molding machinery and auxiliary/downstream equipment to remove parts and make repairs
- Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions
- Analyzes test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems
- AC/DC Motor and VFD Drives and PLC Allen Bradley
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Responsibilities
- Install and rebuild Extrusion Blow Molding machinery
- Lead processing of bottles or containers to troubleshoot, maintain and qualify according to customer bottle specifications
- Disassemble and assemble extrusion blow molding machinery and auxiliary/downstream equipment to remove parts and make repairs
- Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions
- Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems
- Train and develop processes to encourage internal growth with employees
- Lead role for new product launches and bottle qualifications
- Adjusting heats, parison adjustments, air pressure adjustments, machinal adjustments to the molds, cooling adjustments/dwell time, consistent resin flow so the container will within the customer requirements
- Advise machine operators, maintenance, and set up techs on machine adjustments, maintenance and processing, improvements in design and/or modifications needed to molds or tooling
