About The Position

The Extrusion Helper is responsible for assisting the extrusion operator with basic tasks, including cleaning the machine's rollers, organizing production rolls on pallets, general workspace cleaning, delivering samples to the laboratory, and providing support during machine startup. The Helper reports directly to the Team Lead and, when required, to the Extrusion Coordinator. This role involves the application of the Company’s Core Values in the work environment. Responsibilities include assisting the extrusion operator, keeping the work area clean and free of materials on the floor throughout the work shift, assisting with extruder startup operations, continuous monitoring of resin feed to the extruder, and assistance with cleaning of rollers and machine surfaces.

Requirements

Ability to work effectively within a team.
Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of staff, including team lead and managers.
Basic computer skills for operational and communication purposes.
Self-sufficient and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Knowledge to assist the operation of blown film extrusion machines.
Minimum of 3 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to work in high and low temperature environments.
Capable of climbing stairs multiple times a day.
Need to have own transportation to visit more than one facility during the day.
