Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of solid background in manufacturing with experience in machine operation
  • Able to operate all types of equipment and machinery that requires advanced specialized.
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with production equipment.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to use basic systems and tools required for production tracking.
  • Able to interpret graphs, charts, and production trends.
  • Ability to work in 10 hour shift on-site 4 days a week, 2 days 2 nights
  • Ability to bent, twist, lift and carry- 5 to 10 kgs of weight occasionally
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
  • Willing to learn the role and build a deeper understanding of the equipment used in production.
  • Able to work under pressure, manage stress, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates applying to job openings must already be authorized to work independently in the country where the position is based. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the aquaculture industry is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor extrusion equipment for safe, efficient production, set up, start, and shut down extrusion lines per SOPs, clean and sanitize equipment per food/feed safety standards.
  • Adjust machine settings to meet quality and production targets.
  • Perform quality checks and record production data.
  • Monitor material flow and ensure correct ingredients are used.
  • Complete production records and reports accurately.
  • Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
  • Works in compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations and procedures, as well as operational standards.
  • Promotes awareness and signals potential hazardous and or unsafe situations, takes appropriate action is case of imminent unsafe situations.
  • Ensures the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition and that there are no hazardous situations.
  • Maintains the appearance of the production line, working area and production site.
