About The Position

Vinmar Recycling Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Plastics Manufacturing Extruder Operator to work in Belmont, NC. The operator sets up, operates, and maintains extrusion machines used to produce plastic products, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting quality standards. The role involves monitoring the extrusion process, making adjustments, troubleshooting equipment issues, and working with team members to meet production goals and follow safety protocols. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday. Training takes place on Shift A, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for eight weeks, followed by a transition to Shift B, 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as an Extruder Operator or in a similar role in the plastics industry.
Strong understanding of the extrusion process and related machinery.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
