About The Position

The Extruder I is responsible for extruding various rubber compounds by feeding the mill to strip, changing out dies, and stacking/boxing cut material. This role also involves cleaning and organizing the work area, dinking rubber material using a roller cutter, clocking in using Mercury, working safely, and preparing labor tickets. As a Safety Sensitive position, all tasks must be performed with a high degree of safety awareness. Additional responsibilities include working independently or in a team, collaborating effectively, being detail-oriented, creative, resourceful, exercising good judgment, and working accurately. The ability to distinguish colors is also required.
