About The Position
UA Little Rock's Center for Integrative Nanotechnology Sciences is seeking to hire an Extra Help/Summer Assistant. This position will support grant-funded research projects and perform tasks assigned by and under the guidance of research employees and graduate assistants. Material research in the labs may cross multiple scientific disciplines relating to the study and development of advanced materials. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- Must have a high-school diploma
- Ability to work in a team environment against experimental deadlines
- Document lab activities for technical reporting, time reporting, and possible manuscript contributions
- Knowledge in Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Nice To Haves
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of one or more science disciplines (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, engineering)
Responsibilities
- Support grant-funded research projects
