About The Position
The Extra Help Assistant position will work on assigned tasks by the SEET professor, Dr. Ghosh, related to various projects involving mechanical engineering and materials science applications, including tribology and materials characterization. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a UA Little Rock Engineering or Engineering Tech program
- Ability to clearly communicate with oral and written information
- Basic knowledge of using Mechanical Engineering Tech-related equipment
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Responsibilities
- Assisting with conducting research
- Completing the assigned tasks in the given timeline
- Following the lab rules
