USC College is seeking an Externship Assistant for its Montclair Campus. This role is responsible for the execution, coordination, and successful completion of student externships. The Externship Assistant acts as the primary liaison between students and externship sites, ensuring students are prepared, matched appropriately, and supported throughout their clinical experience. This position collaborates with the Site Developer and Director to ensure efficient and compliant externship placements that lead to successful program completion and employment opportunities. The role also involves updating and managing hospital seat/slot management systems and requires strong student engagement, employer communication, and hands-on support to achieve high externship completion rates, low attrition, and strong extern-to-hire outcomes.
