About The Position

PGIM Global Wealth is seeking an External Wholesaler to represent their products and vehicles, including Mutual funds, ETF’s, SMA’s, Alternative Investments, and CIT’s, across retail and retirement platforms to investment professionals. The role is responsible for raising net new assets and servicing existing clients within Wirehouses, Regional Broker Dealers, and RIA Aggregator firms. The External Wholesaler will need to clearly differentiate PGIM's investment strategies, provide technical information, and articulate benefits relative to competitors. An expert-level understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, capital markets, and industry-related topics is expected. The position is based in Chicago, requiring the candidate to be in the region and have access to a major airport.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in the asset management distribution industry.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience directly to financial intermediaries.
  • Self-motivated with successful territory management and selling skills.
  • Ability to drive objectives relatively autonomously.
  • Required licenses: Series 7 and Series 63 or 65.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Well organized, structured, and disciplined in sales systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Representing all PGIM Global Wealth products and vehicles including Mutual funds, ETF’s, SMA’s, Alternative Investments, CIT’s across retail and retirement platforms to investment professionals in their respective territory.
  • Raising net new assets for the firm and servicing the firms existing client base across Wirehouses, Regional Broker Dealers and RIA Aggregator firms.
  • Clearly differentiating investment strategies, providing technical information and articulating the benefits relative to competitors.
  • Demonstrating expert level understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, capital markets, and industry related topics.
  • Meeting specific sales targets across investment products, investment vehicles and investment firms.
  • Communicating effectively one-on-one, electronically and presenting in front of groups of financial professionals.
  • Working with internal and external business partners to align resources to expected sales outcomes.
