About The Position

This position manages key projects with External/Contract Manufacturing Partners that enable quicker, smoother growth and cost effectiveness for products in Optical Communications Division. This position will work cross functionally and Globally with Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, Product Line Management, Global Supply Management & Quality.

Requirements

Engineering bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Engineering & Manufacturing environment and Project Management is preferred
Minimum 1 years working on major global projects
Understanding of Product Structures, BOM, AVL
Understanding of PDM, ERP/MRP systems

Responsibilities

Ensure that External Manufacturers and key suppliers meet requirements for key projects
Analyze and optimize forecasts to match production schedules and customer deliveries
Analyze inventory data with recommendations to help position the business to lowest inventory level while supporting revenue targets
Understand and manage product BOM, Approved Vendor List, Process Maps and associated data
Escort product data, from design stages through NPI and volume manufacturing into End Of Life stage.
Develop and maintain impact metrics and score cards to maintain execution traceability
