About The Position

Join the James & Whitney Co. Team as an Exterior Sales Specialist! This role is for a driven, customer-focused sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. You will lead homeowner outreach and guide clients through exterior upgrades with confidence, owning the sales process from first contact to final completion, ensuring every homeowner feels supported and informed. You will work closely with our Sales Director to provide exceptional service, deliver high-quality exterior solutions, and achieve revenue goals.

  • $3,000,000 in annual revenue (non-negotiable benchmark).
  • Minimum 40% margin on all sales.
  • Immediate response to new leads and consistent CRM management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of roofing and exterior systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business through networking, door-to-door canvassing, referrals, and community events.
  • Respond to incoming leads immediately and schedule site visits to increase close rates.
  • Conduct 15–20 site visits per week, providing expert inspections and education on roofing and exterior systems.
  • Deliver professional quotes within 24 hours to build trust and maintain sales momentum.
  • Manage your pipeline through our CRM, ensuring no lead is overlooked.
  • Maintain pricing standards and uphold profitability benchmarks.
  • Follow up post-sale to gather referrals and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the Sales Director to develop and execute revenue strategies.
  • Communicate project details accurately to support production and operations teams.
  • Assist with material sourcing when needed.
  • Participate in all sales meetings and training sessions to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Contribute creative ideas to marketing and outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, professional company vehicle and report any necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate vehicle registration and insurance with the admin team.
  • Track and submit company credit card usage for accountability.
