About The Position

As a Sales Manager, you are the architect of growth and the mentor of champions at Cenvar Roofing. Cenvar is hiring a driven, disciplined, and people-focused Sales Manager to help lead our exterior remodeling sales team. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader who knows how to coach performance, develop talent, drive accountability, and help sales representatives reach their full potential. This is not a desk-only management role. The Sales Manager is expected to be active in the field, engaged with the team, involved in sales strategy, and accountable for results. Cenvar provides the brand, lead opportunities, products, financing tools, training resources, technology, installation support, and operational backing. You are responsible for turning those resources into consistent sales performance through leadership, coaching, follow-up, and execution. The Sales Manager will lead representatives who help homeowners make smart decisions about exterior remodeling projects, including roofing, gutters, siding, windows, and doors.

Requirements

  • Have proven success in sales leadership, sales management, or high-performing in-home sales.
  • Be driven, coachable, organized, competitive, and comfortable leading a team in a face-to-face sales environment.
  • Know how to coach salespeople, hold them accountable, and help them improve without lowering the standard.
  • Be confident reviewing sales metrics, diagnosing performance issues, and creating action plans.
  • Have strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Be able to build trust with both customers and team members.
  • Be comfortable presenting pricing, financing, products, and value-based solutions.
  • Be disciplined with CRM usage, pipeline management, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Have experience in home improvement, roofing, remodeling, construction, solar, automotive, real estate, insurance, or another performance-based sales environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and customer-first attitude.
  • Be physically able and comfortable inspecting roofs and attics when needed while strictly following safety procedures.
  • Be able to understand measurements, scopes of work, products, and job details accurately.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (insurable under company policy) and a background check free of felony convictions.
  • Familiarity with Google suite is required.

  • Exterior remodeling experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of exterior remodeling Sales Representatives.
  • Set the standard for professionalism, honesty, preparation, customer service, and sales execution.
  • Hold the sales team accountable to activity, follow-up, CRM discipline, close rate, average job size, revenue sold, and customer experience.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, appointment reviews, role plays, pipeline reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Help Sales Representatives inspect, diagnose, and present solutions for roofing, gutters, siding, windows, and doors.
  • Ensure the team follows Cenvar’s sales process, pricing standards, financing options, product presentations, and company policies.
  • Review estimates, scopes of work, and proposals to ensure accuracy, profitability, and customer clarity.
  • Drive branch revenue, profitability, market share, and sales-team performance.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and help retain high-performing sales talent.
  • Lead weekly sales meetings focused on training, accountability, problem-solving, and performance improvement.
  • Monitor lead management, appointment scheduling, pipeline movement, and follow-up activity.
  • Work closely with production, installation, marketing, operations, and leadership to ensure a smooth customer experience from sale through project handoff.
  • Assist with escalated customer situations and help resolve problems quickly and professionally.
  • Identify training gaps, performance issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
