Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Soil or Water Science or degree related to natural resources.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and some basic statistical analysis of data.
- Knowledge of word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Sample receiving and organization, followed by performance of analysis of samples and recording data.
- Properly archive analysis, samples and data to retrieve necessary.
- Maintain order in the lab and ensure that all is kept clean and tidy.
- Monitor inventory in storage and lab spaces to ensure no stoppage of work occurs.
- Engage in the development and delivery of extension outreach materials for public consumption.
- Assists with program and outreach efforts.
- Produces and or delivers presentations
- Assists in the initiation of applied research studies, collects, and processes data and generates reports.
- Other duties as required.
