About The Position

Leading Edge is seeking an experienced, organized, and enthusiastic Site Director to lead one of our before- and after-school programs serving the Sayreville and South Amboy communities. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operation of a licensed school-age childcare program while creating a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for students, families, and staff. Our Site Directors wear many hats. They're coaches, mentors, relationship builders, problem solvers, curriculum leaders, and trusted partners within their school communities. While administrative responsibilities are an important part of the position, you'll also spend your day interacting with students, supporting your team, and creating experiences children look forward to every day. We're looking for someone who understands that great programs don't happen by accident-they're built through strong leadership, creativity, organization, and genuine care for children and families. Knowledge of New Jersey childcare licensing regulations and experience leading licensed childcare, youth development, camp, or before and after school programs is highly preferred.
