About The Position

This position is intended for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Plan and implement engaging enrichment activities aligned with student interests and staff strengths, including arts and crafts, STEM, cooperative games, sports, team-building, and other recreational activities. Assist with daily supervision of students in both structured and unstructured settings (e.g., hallways, cafeteria, recess, transitions) while using positive, consistent behavior management practices. Maintain safe, organized, and orderly program spaces, including assisting with classroom and storage area clean-up Build positive, professional relationships with students to support engagement and maintain a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment. Communicate and interact professionally with parents, students, and coworkers while maintaining student confidentiality. Share relevant student observations, concerns, and program feedback with leadership staff as appropriate. Attend required staff trainings, field trips, and special events as requested. Other duties as assigned by the Head Teacher, Assistant Director, or Director

Requirements

  • College-level coursework or experience in education or a related field (e.g., psychology, sociology, or human services) with relevant experience working with children preferred, such as school support, childcare, camps, or youth programs.
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
