About The Position

St. Edmund’s Academy seeks counselors for the after school extended day program for the 2026-2027 school year. Opportunities are available Monday through Friday, 3:15-6:00 p.m., with options to work a minimum of 1 day per week up to a maximum of 5 days per week. The role involves leading by example in following the Core Values of St. Edmund’s Academy, supervising activities safely around the school campus, and enthusiastically implementing and facilitating activities. Counselors will respectfully interact with and communicate with staff, parents, and co-counselors, build positive relationships with students, and ensure proper procedures and safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Willingness to work cooperatively and accept feedback
• Ability to actively engage with children, including but not limited to sports, climbing, arts and crafts, lifting

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children preferred
