Extended Day Aide (2026/2027)
About The Position
This is a part-time position working 5.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, for 9 months of the year. The role is within Community Education/Extended Day Assistant at Palm Valley Elementary School. New hires will be placed on a salary chart based on verified years of experience. Important information for internal employees regarding leave benefits is provided, noting that only 8-hour positions and Student Transporters qualify for personal earned leave. Positions less than 8 hours per day may result in the loss of personal earned leave if earned for less than 5 years, or require contact with payroll for payout information if earned for more than 5 years. Personal leave cannot be accessed while working in a position less than 8 hours per day.
