About The Position

Provide on-going supervision and coordination of the Mt. Hope High School After-School Academic Support Program.

Requirements

• Valid teacher certification
• Teaching experience
• Knowledgeable in current educational trends
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Committee may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and supervision necessary for the operation and improvement of the After-School Academic Support Program
• Responsible for organizing, collecting and disseminating weekly After-School Academic Support Program Progress Reports to the appropriate parties
• Recruits and schedules after-school tutors
• Assists in scheduling students in the After-School Academic Support Program
• Assists in evaluation the academic integrity of the support program
• Supervises the reports and monitoring of all student attendance in the After-School Academic Support Program
• Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body and deals with special cases, as necessary
• Serves as a liaison between students, tutors, classroom teachers, guidance counselors, coaches, athletic director/activity coordinator and administration
• Performs such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal and/or Assistant Principal may from time to time assign.
