About The Position
Extended Care Provider Historic Downtown Campus | Part-Time, Hourly At Moravian Academy, we believe every interaction with a child is an opportunity to explore the question at the heart of our community: "Who am I, and who can I become?" Our Extended Care program is where that spirit lives on after the final bell - and we're looking for warm, energetic people to help make it happen. We're hiring Extended Care Providers for our Historic Downtown Campus in Bethlehem and our Swain Campus in Allentown. This part-time afternoon role (generally 2:45–5:30 p.m.) is a great fit for someone who loves kids, thrives in a collaborative team, and brings creativity and genuine care to everything they do. You'll supervise students in grades PreK–8, lead engaging activities, manage sign-in and sign-out procedures, and help maintain the safe, welcoming environment our families count on.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Pennsylvania Acts 34, 151, and 114 clearances are required before the first day of work
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of a background check, including Pennsylvania Acts 34, 151, and 114 clearances
- FBI Fingerprint Check
- PA Criminal Background Check (PA State Police)
- Child Abuse Clearance Check
- Act 24 - signed affidavit stating no prior convictions
- Act 168 - sent from our HR Department to previous employers for feedback
- Proof of a negative TB Test
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree
- Prior experience in schools, camps, or youth programs
