About The Position

St Regis Academy is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic individual to join our Aftercare Team. The Aftercare Staff Member is responsible for providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students during the after-school hours. This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of the St. Regis Academy community. Join us in creating a fun, safe, and welcoming afternoon experience for our students!

Requirements

• Enjoys working with children and demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and dependability.
• Ability to maintain a safe and positive environment for students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the aftercare program and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Provide a welcoming, positive, and nurturing environment for students.
• Engage students in age-appropriate games, activities, crafts, and play.
• Help maintain a clean and organized aftercare environment.
• Follow all school and aftercare policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally and positively with students, families, and school staff.
• Assist with student dismissal and ensure students are released according to established procedures.
