About The Position

Milestone Recovery is seeking compassionate individuals for their Extended Care Program to provide quality services to individuals facing homelessness, substance use, and behavioral health disorders. The Extended Care Attendant will be responsible for the care and well-being of clients residing in the program, ensuring their stability, dignity, and recovery.

Requirements

A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year experience working in a residential setting.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience related to the human services field highly preferred.
Prior experience with homeless and substance use disorder population highly preferred.
Recovery Coach training highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide support and oversight to Extended Care clients throughout the shift, including hourly room checks and supportive conversations.
Engage in supportive conversations when clients are struggling.
Be awake and alert for all hours of the shift.
Check the immediate area around the main building at least twice nightly.
Clean staff/visitor bathroom, including changing trash and mopping floors, and perform other light cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor.
Arrange or provide transportation to emergency services when needed.
Respect client confidentiality at all times.
Attend required training programs and scheduled staff meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
