About The Position
The Express Technician performs express vehicle services and inspections at Subaru of North Tampa. The role is intended for entry-level or graduate technicians, and prior experience is beneficial but not required. Morgan Auto Group emphasizes technician development through an apprenticeship program, internal promotion opportunities, career paths with progressive pay, and support for ASE certification. Pay is based on experience and certifications. The technician is expected to complete assigned work within management’s allotted time, document inspection findings digitally, and provide inspection reports to the Service Advisor for customer review. The role also involves maintaining a clean work area and reporting safety concerns or equipment failures to the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.

Nice To Haves
- Automotive technician experience is beneficial but not required.
- ASE certifications are recognized.
Responsibilities
- Perform express services in a timely manner.
- Check and top off all fluid levels and tire pressures on every vehicle serviced.
- Reset oil reminder lights and replace oil change reminder stickers.
- Lubricate every suspension fitting and door hinge.
- Perform general visual inspections and document findings using the provided digital inspection report format.
- Complete required service within the time allotted by management.
- Provide the inspection report to the Service Advisor in a timely manner for review with the customer.
- Report safety concerns related to equipment failure to the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Keep the work area clean at all times.
