About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Express Technician at Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood. The technician performs vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealership and factory standards, diagnoses vehicle issues, and helps build customer trust and loyalty through effective service. The company operates more than 50 dealerships across seven states, represents over 25 vehicle brands, and has more than 3,500 employees.

Requirements

Automotive technician experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local laws and regulations.
At least 18 years of age to comply with the company driving policy.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as outlined on repair orders, efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
Diagnose the causes of vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical employees and customers.
Keep up to date with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate.
Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems.
Maintain an organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
