About The Position

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is hiring an Express Technician at Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood. The technician performs assigned vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards, diagnoses vehicle issues, and helps build customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in the dealership. This is an opportunity to join a large automotive dealership group affiliated with more than 25 vehicle brands and over 50 dealerships across seven states, with more than 3,500 employees nationwide.

Requirements

Automotive Technician experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law and regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old to comply with the company driving policy.

Nice To Haves

ASE certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
Diagnose the causes of vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs.
Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers.
Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate.
Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they arise.
Maintain an organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
