About The Position

This role is for an Express Technician/Mechanic at a Volvo dealership in Seattle, WA. The position is entry-level with a career path towards becoming a full-line technician. The role requires speed and accuracy, with a focus on performing express maintenance services efficiently and without cutting corners. Requirements

• 1+ year of automotive technician, lube tech, or express service experience preferred (candidates with less experience demonstrating strong aptitude and work ethic are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures (oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections).
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Volvo or European brand familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform express maintenance services including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, wiper blade replacements, cabin and engine air filter replacements, and multi-point inspections.
• Identify and communicate additional service needs discovered during inspections to service advisors.
• Follow Volvo express lane procedures and safety standards on every vehicle.
• Work accurately and efficiently throughout the shift, maintaining quality while working at speed.
