About The Position

The Express Service Advisor role at Volvo Cars Seattle focuses on handling high-frequency maintenance interactions in the express lane. The ideal candidate will be a clear, composed communicator with a background in hospitality or guest-facing service, capable of keeping guests informed and at ease in a fast-paced environment. This role is the first touchpoint in a guest's ownership journey and requires honesty, accuracy, and genuine follow-through.

Requirements

• Guest-facing service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred.
• Clear, calm communicator who stays organized and composed when the lane is busy.
• Genuine care for the guest experience.
• Comfortable with DMS platforms or quick to learn them.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior service advisor or Volvo brand experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Write up express service guests quickly and accurately, capturing vehicle concerns, mileage, and service history.
• Set clear expectations for wait time and service scope for express service guests.
• Communicate multi-point inspection results to guests clearly and honestly.
• Present additional service recommendations with transparency and without pressure.
• Manage a fast-moving write-up queue and keep guests proactively informed on status throughout their visit.
• Coordinate with express technicians to keep lane throughput moving efficiently and on schedule.
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and minor escalations with composure and a solution-first approach.
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS throughout every transaction.
