About The Position

Baker Chevrolet South Haven is seeking an Express Maintenance Technician to join their Chevrolet dealership in South Haven, MI. This role is part of a growing maintenance and light repair business and offers the opportunity to begin formal training as a General Motors Technician. It is a full-time, hourly paid position with performance bonuses.

Requirements

• Knowledge of automotive service fundamentals.
• Candidate owns the basic hand tools required to perform standard vehicle maintenance.
• Comfortable working with others as a team.
• Working knowledge of automotive tools and shop equipment.
• A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Technician experience is a plus.
• Formal automotive technology education is preferred but not mandatory.
• A true interest in a career as an automotive Technician.
