About The Position
Baker Automotive Group has a terrific opportunity for an up-and-coming service technician at our beautiful Buick GMC dealership in Hudsonville, MI. We continue to grow our maintenance & light repair business and are looking for the right candidate to add to our busy Express Team. The selected candidate will perform vehicle maintenance services and be given the opportunity to start their formal training as a General Motors Technician. This is a full-time, hourly paid position with performance bonuses.
Requirements
- Knowledge of automotive service fundamentals
- Candidate owns the basic hand tools required to perform standard vehicle maintenance
- Comfortable working with others as a team
- Working knowledge of automotive tools and shop equipment
- A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required
- High School diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Prior Technician experience is a plus
- Formal automotive technology education is preferred but not mandatory
