About The Position

Stockton Hyundai is hiring an Express/Lube Technician for its service team. This fast-paced, team-oriented role provides hands-on experience, manufacturer training, and opportunities to advance into higher-level technician positions. The dealership offers a modern service facility, professional-grade equipment, ongoing skill development, and support from leadership and senior technicians. Candidates may have prior automotive experience, but it is not required.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with hand tools.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Previous lube technician, automotive maintenance, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance services.
Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings.
Check and maintain fluid levels, filters, tire pressure, and battery condition.
Complete services accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Communicate service recommendations to service advisors as needed.
Follow manufacturer standards and dealership procedures.
Assist senior technicians while developing advanced automotive skills.
