Express Lube Technician / Entry-Level Automotive Technician Diehl of Moon – Moon Township, PA Full-Time | Automotive Service | Quick Lube Technician Diehl of Moon is hiring a motivated and dependable Express Lube Technician / Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our busy service department in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Previous automotive experience is preferred, but candidates with mechanical ability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Dependable, mechanically inclined, and interested in developing their automotive skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to safely operate automotive tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service department
- Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive experience is preferred
- Automotive maintenance or quick-lube experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Rotate and inspect tires
- Check and adjust tire pressure
- Inspect brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components
- Check and top off vehicle fluids
- Replace engine and cabin air filters
- Replace windshield wiper blades
- Perform basic multipoint vehicle inspections
- Identify maintenance needs and communicate findings to Service Advisors
- Follow manufacturer-recommended maintenance procedures
- Properly document completed services
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow dealership and automotive shop safety procedures
- Assist other service technicians when needed
- Help provide efficient, high-quality service to every customer
