About The Position

Diehl of Moon is hiring a motivated and dependable Express Lube Technician / Entry-Level Automotive Technician to join our busy service department in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. If you enjoy working on vehicles and want to start or advance your career in the automotive industry, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a growing automotive organization. Previous automotive experience is preferred, but candidates with mechanical ability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Dependable, mechanically inclined, and interested in developing their automotive skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Ability to safely operate automotive tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service department
• Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

• Automotive maintenance or quick-lube experience is a plus
• Previous automotive experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Rotate and inspect tires
• Check and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Replace engine and cabin air filters
• Replace windshield wiper blades
• Perform basic multipoint vehicle inspections
• Identify maintenance needs and communicate findings to Service Advisors
• Follow manufacturer-recommended maintenance procedures
• Properly document completed services
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow dealership and automotive shop safety procedures
• Assist other service technicians when needed
• Help provide efficient, high-quality service to every customer
