Requirements

Communication skills – communicates effectively with others.
Time management – managing one’s own time and time of others.
Typing – ability to type efficiently in order to enter repair orders.
Basic computer & cost calculation skills.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
High school graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as an Express Advisor or Service Advisor preferred.

Responsibilities

Presents a friendly, professional greeting to customers and helps identify, confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns.
Serves as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
Prepares repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
Communicates additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
Administers the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
Keeps customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
