About The Position

As an Express Lane Technician at Brandon Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, you will undertake various tasks to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our service department. Your role will involve conducting basic maintenance services and inspections, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. You will also be responsible for assisting with vehicle diagnostics and minor repairs, as well as maintaining accurate records of service performed.

Requirements

Prior experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
Familiarity with automotive systems, components, and parts
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
Assist with vehicle diagnostics to identify any issues or malfunctions
Complete minor repairs and adjustments, such as replacing brake pads or wiper blades
Inspect vehicles and provide appropriate recommendations for additional services or repairs
Document all services and repairs accurately for record-keeping purposes
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while in the workshop
