About The Position

The Express Hourly Car Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate maintenance and repair of vehicles within a fast-paced automotive service environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent experience in automotive repair.
• Proven experience working as an automotive technician, preferably in a fast-paced service environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Diagnostic skills are essential for interpreting error codes and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
• Communication skills facilitate clear interaction with service advisors and customers, helping to explain necessary repairs and manage expectations.
• Organizational skills help maintain a safe and orderly workspace, which is crucial in a fast-paced environment to prevent errors and accidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to report findings, recommend additional services, and update customers on vehicle status.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Document all services performed accurately in the service management system to ensure proper record-keeping and billing.
